jog2017startGood weather generated a record entry of 542 finishers in the 2017 Lenzie New Year Jog on Monday 2nd January. Overall winner of the 9k distance was Robert Simpson (486) in 28 minutes 3 secs, with Nick Hardy (365) in 28 minutes 42 secs in second place. Both of these runners are at the front in the pic of the mass start here. Other results can be found on the Kirkintilloch Olympians website and have a look at the Facebook link also.

Many thanks to all those who made this possible – marshals, time-keepers, first aiders and soup makers.
