We are a Fairtrade town 2The Lenzie Fairtrade Group is delighted to announce that our Fairtrade Status has been renewed until July 2016.  This is largely thanks to the schools, businesses, churches and other organisations in Lenzie who have embraced the concept of Fairtrade so enthusiastically.  You have enabled us to demonstrate to the Fairtrade Foundation that Fairtrade activity in Lenzie is developing in a very positive way.  You attended our events, purchased  Fairtrade products and appeared to enjoy the entertainment on offer, particularly at Savour the Flavour last autumn and the Great Lenzie Fairtrade Bake-Off earlier this year.   As well as thanking Lenzie residents we would also like to congratulate Milngavie and Bearsden for joining Lenzie as East Dunbartonshire Fairtrade Towns.
