Bluebell planting volunteers were rather thin on the ground on Sunday, but a large number of bluebells were nevertheless planted and it was a lovely afternoon following several rainy days.  It will be interesting to see what it all looks like in the spring.

Boghead Wood is accessed via the west end of Christine’s Way or from the path at the top of Boghead Road opposite the rugby field.

The annual New Year Jog is planned – and it is hoped that it will run next year without the threat of cancellation due to severe frost, which was the problem last time.   Registration from 10:00 am at Lenzie Union Old Hall on Moncrieff Avenue.
