5k/10k road races organised by Deafblind Scotland in association with Kirkintilloch’s Initiative to raise funds for “Field of Dreams” building project.

5k race starts at 9:30 and 10k at 10:30 – also 1k Fun Run for children 12 and under.

There will be a public meeting to “examine unresolved issues with respect to the plan” and to  “obtain further information on strategic housing land supply”.  More information on issues to be discussed, the names of those invited to participate and relevant documents can be found in the Planning section of East Dunbartonshire Council’s website.

Comments and objections have been received from 219 respondents – from individuals, housing developers and other organisations.  These cover the whole of East Dunbartonshire, but issues relevant to Lenzie include Woodilee, South Claddens and the former Lenzie Hospital site.
