Lenzie Gala is very popular in the community and this year it is on Saturday 5th June.  If you have ideas to contribute to the Gala this year or can represent an organisation in the community, please come along to a meeting, organised by the Community Council, on Wednesday 3rd March in Lenzie Lower Public Hall Committee Room.

Three new members have joined the Community Council since the AGM (see ‘About LCC/Who we are’).  They are Donald MacLeod, Elizabeth Ibbotson and John MacFadden.  We look forward to their contributions.  However, more members are always welcome, as it helps us to have contact over more of the Lenzie community and lightens the load for all of us.  So the last paragraph in the Who we are page is still relevant.

Auchinloch Community Council hosts talk by Angus McIver on wild geese.  Talk at Auchinloch Community Hall – followed by Ranger-led walk – warm clothes advised.

Lenzie Christian Fellowship are running this event in Lenzie Coffee Lounge, Queen’s Buildings on Wednesday 3rd March at 7:30 pm. Features local resident Graham Sherry as ‘Jimmy’.   Suggested donation £5 for sandwich supper.
