South Claddens Planning Application

South Claddens Planning Application

Cascladdensla Homes have submitted a formal Planning Application to build in the field to the south of Blacklands Place.  This proposal is the one presented previously in Lenzie Tennis Club.  The full application can be read on the East Dunbartonshire website under the title TP/ED/17/0517.

If you are thinking that wading your way through 35 documents is not to your taste, help is at hand in the form of the report prepared by Lenzie Community Council Planning Convener to assist members in their consideration of the proposal.  Click to read Blacklands Place Planning Application Report. For later comments to the Planning Department see Blacklands Place Response

Look out for the sign! (This one is at Haymarket).

The Scotrail Alliance has announced that free Wifi is now available at Lenzie and Bishopbriggs Stations.  Wifi is available at around 50 stations, apparently and 90% of rolling stock are expected to be connected by autumn 2018.

Installation work is currently underway on the trains which serve Glasgow suburban routes, Lanarkshire and Inverclyde and this will add to the current provision on the main inter-city routes.
